What to Expect

Your guide will meet you at your Siem Reap hotel and you’ll head out on a full day of exploration beginning with a visit to Angkor Wat, the world’s largest religious monument.

Continue on to Angkor Thom to see the Bayon Temple, uniquely decorated with over 2,000 smiling faces. Discover other sites in the complex such as Phimeanakas, Baphoun, the Elephant Terrace, and the Terrace of the Leper King.

Stop to admire the south gate of Angkor Thom city, with its renowned 4 faces of Avalokiteshvara.

Take a break for lunch and enjoy a sumptuous Khmer meal at a local restaurant overlooking Sras Srang, the royal bathing pool. Afterwards you can relax in a hammock or have a chat with the locals to learn about local culture.

Next you’ll visit the haunting Ta Prohm Temple made famous in the Tomb Raider movie, starring Angelina Jolie.

Climb the brick pyramid-shaped Pre Rup Temple, one of the oldest buildings in the Angkor complex, before returning to your hotel.
